Wings of Freedom Tour
WHAT: As part of a 110-city tour, the Collings Foundation brings to McClellan Park (the old McClellan Air Force Base) four bomber and fighter aircraft to be admired and flown.
WHEN: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. today, 9 a.m.-noon Monday
WHERE: Near the Coast Guard Air Station's hangar, 6037 Price Ave., McClellan
COST: $12 adults, $6 children to tour inside the aircraft. Fly aboard the B-17 or B-24 for $425. "Stick time" in the P-51 Mustang is $2,200 for a half-hour or $3,200 for an hour. (Fees are tax-deductible.)

WHAT: Capital Public Radio's Sean Bianco conducts this Light Opera Theater of Sacramento production of Gilbert & Sullivan's "Ruddigore," a comic operetta in the spirit of "The Mikado" and "The Pirates of Penzance" that skewers societal mores and melodrama, and makes full use of characters like ghosts and a gaggle of maidens, among others.
