The Philadelphia Orchestra will travel to China next month for a packed schedule of concerts in four cities, master classes, cultural exchange forums and community outreach.
Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, T.I. and Ludacris will headline two days of concerts in September at Atlanta's Music Midtown.
In an obituary April 19 for musician Levon Helm, The Associated Press erroneously reported when Helm's band mate Rick Danko died. He died shortly before his 57th birthday, not the day after his 56th birthday.

Baroque musicians typically fly under the radar in the classical music world, but their outsize passion for the music will be on display at the third annual Bravo Bach Festival. The event will feature six concerts starting today at Sacramento's St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
Anyssa Neumann will perform music by Bach and Handel next Friday.

The late director of Auburn Symphony, Michael Goodwin, who was killed in an automobile accident Tuesday, will be honored this Saturday when the orchestra performs a scheduled Kinderkonzert.
Auburn Symphony's 2004-05 "Season of Adventure" launches with its "Passion and Fire" concert on Sunday, Oct. 17 at 3 p.m., which a repeat presentation on Friday, Oct. 22 at 8:15 p.m. Both will be performed at the Placer High School Auditorium Theater, at the corner of High and Agard streets in Auburn. During both concerts, Maestro Michael Goodwin will conduct.
